Do these QR codes expire?
No. The code contains your text or link directly; there is no redirect service in between, so it works as long as the link itself works.
Which format should I download?
PNG is fine for screens and documents. Use SVG for print: it is a vector file, so it stays sharp at any size, from a business card to a poster.
How do Wi-Fi QR codes work?
They use a standard format (WIFI:T:WPA;S:name;P:password;;) that iPhone and Android cameras recognise. Scanning offers to join the network without typing the password.
What does error correction do?
It lets the code still scan when part of it is damaged or covered. Higher levels make the code denser. "Medium" suits most uses; pick "High" if you will put a logo over the middle.
